We pride ourselves on being a friendly, neighborhood, bi-lingual school committed to high achievement for ALL learners! Our staff is caring, committed and working to adapt programming and instruction to meet the needs of our ever changing society and the needs of our learners!
At Northridge Elementary our mission is to inspire and encourage lifelong learning, academic excellence and personal integrity within a context of diversity, responsibility and respect.
Our achievement goals for the 2010-2011 school year include:
- 0 students score Unsatisfactory on CSAP.
- 75% or more of all students score at or above proficiency in reading on CSAP and District administered tests.
- A minimum of 10% increase in student achievement results each year in Reading, Writing, Math and Science.
- Make Adequate Yearly Progress as determined by the Colorado Department of Education criteria.
We have a very active and committed bi-lingual PTO serving the academic and social needs of our school community. Our PTO welcomes all Northridge families and community members. Fundraising, recognizing, outstanding student learning each month, organizing volunteers for school activities, providing additional resources, building community and helping students are just a few of the wonderful contributions of our Northridge PTO.
As a longtime St. Vrain employee and community member, it's certainly a privilege to serve our students, staff, families and community members!
